Świerczyński
Tomasz Świerczyński specializes in the civil and company law. He has gained vast expertise in negotiating and drafting miscellaneous commercial contracts. He has counselled clients on real estate conveyancing, including researching and updating the current legal status of real estate, and the real estate sale, lease, tenancy and management contracts. Additionally, he is well versed in corporate legal matters, including company formation, capital structure modifications, company restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
His professional interests comprise private international law. He has extensive expertise in conducting cross-border transactions and court proceedings. He also advises clients in respect of press law, and the issues concerning foundations and associations.
Together with Bartlomiej Stoiński, attorney-at-law, Tomasz founded the STSW Law Firm in 2002. Tomasz is well versed in German and English.
Tomasz was admitted to practice law as an advocate in 2002. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and the School of German Law at the Jagiellonian University. In the years 1998-2000 he was an academic research worker at the Chair of Private International Law of UJ. In the years 1997-2002 he cooperated with a renowned law firm specializing in economic and commercial law. He participated in a cooperation programme for lawyers from Middle and Eastern Europe (Hospitationsprogramm für Rechtsanwälte aus Mittel- und Osteuropa) in 2008 in Germany.
